Comprehensive Retirement Planning (NCR)
Duration: 3 Days, 8:30AM to 4:00PM Schedule & Registration
 RPI has been delivering its flagship retirement seminar since 1996. It is recommended to take this seminar while in your early forties, then again 5 to 10 years later, and finally in the last year before your selected retirement date.
 Session 1
(½ day)
Full coverage of your pension plan (Public Service Superannuation Act - PSSA) by a PSSA Certified speaker;
 Session 2
(½ day)
Accurate information on legal issues such as the preparation of wills, powers of attorney and estate planning;
 Session 3
(½ day)
Timely strategies for managing the aging process as it affects health;
 Sessions 4 & 5
(1 day)
Comprehensive advice on how to develop a sound financial plan that will support personal retirement goals - presented by a PSSA Certified speakers; and
 Session 6
(½ day)
Valuable knowledge of the psychosocial issues individuals face as they move through the transition to retirement


Pension/Financial Retirement Planning (NCR)

2-day Condensed for EX (NCR)
Duration: 2 Days, 8:30AM to 4:00PM Schedule & Registration
  RPI's unique condensed retirement seminar is specifically tailored for the Executives of the Public Service. It is best to take this seminar in your early forties, then again 5-10 years later and finally in the last year before your selected retirement date. 
 Session 1

Full coverage of your pension plan (Public Service Superannuation Act - PSSA) by a PSSA Certified speaker;

 Session 2
(½ day)
Comprehensive advice on how to develop a sound financial plan that will support personal retirement goals - presented by a PSSA Certified speaker;

1/2 day Ready to Retire (pm) (NCR)
Duration: 1/2 day (pm), 1:00PM to 4:30PM Schedule & Registration
  This seminar is meant to fine-tune your actual retirement to ensure that you are maximizing all your entitlements and not missing out on any last-minute opportunities.
  You should register for this 1/2-day seminar when you are considering the actual date of your retirement. For some, this will be about six month in advance, for others it will be 1 month to 2 years in advance. Prior to attending this seminar, you should have already attended our 3-day Comprehensive Retirement Seminar or our 2-day Condensed Retirement Seminar for EX's (descriptions above).

RPI's 2-day seminar is tailored specifically for the 20-40-year old who wants to start planning earlier rather than later.

This seminar is made up of four (4) sessions of one-half day each:

 Session 1 & 2
(1 day)
Comprehensive coverage of the financial issues that will impact your retirement and the journey to get there. From the study of important financial concepts (debt reduction, inflation, tax planning, investments, insurances, etc.) to the coverage of the Public Service Superannuation Act (pension calculation, buyback of past service, timing of one's retirement, transfer value etc) all with the objective to develop a sound financial plan; and
 Session 3
(½ day)
A thorough review of essential legal documents such as your will, powers of attorney, probation costs; and
 Session 4
(½ day)
The formulation of plans for managing your health, diet and exercise, i.e. how to take care of yourself;
